LIQUID GUARD® What is it?
LIQUID GUARD® is a German innovation. It concerns a permanent, silicone, antibacterial coating. This coating is guaranteed safe, 99.9% effective, provides optimal hygiene and eliminates bacteria and viruses, moulds, algae and microbes, including E-coli and salmonella. LIQUID GUARD® How does it work?
The permanent, anti-bacterial coating consists of two components: A cleaning and preparatory layer and the actual top coating.
The anti-bacterial coating creates an invisible physical barrier (a kind of shapeless, ultra-thin glass layer) that destroys microbes. The molecules in the protective coating function as an array of blades that eliminate bacterial and viral growth. The positively charged atoms of nitrogen attract negatively charged cell membranes and “puncture” the microbes. This destroys bacteria and viruses so that they can no longer spread and continue to do damage.

Of course you can have a product printed ánd treated with LIQUID GUARD®. A great combination. The surface of the product to be treated is first cleaned and polymerised. Manually and with utmost precision, the safe and permanent LIQUID GUARD® coating is applied onto the contact surface onto the outside of the product. The substance requires 6 hours to dry. A non-migratory anti-microbial, shapeless, ultra-thin glass layer is created. Once dry, this coating is ready to permanently eliminate bacteria and viruses.
LIQUID GUARD® How long does it work?
The permanent, anti-bacterial and anti-viral coating is guaranteed to be effective 24/7 for at least 12 months, starting from the delivery date of your order from the warehouse. As long as the product itself is also dishwasher-friendly, a product that has been treated with LIQUID GUARD® can also be washed in the dishwasher without damaging the coating.
